marky r 25 Posted January 16, 2009 Report Share Posted January 16, 2009 been nice digging to that dog fox the big old bugga lol. iv had a couple in snares on a bit of rough ground next to the train tracks next to my house set the cage trap thrown a few rabbits round it they been taken but nothing in the trap yet. woodga i saw the warrener use a bucket on a video once he put a few holes in the top placed it in the ground he either put a few dead rabbits in it or a dead vixen and the smell brought them in have you ever tried that? good work lads. pegandgun 52 Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 There are many many farms where there are problems with foxes where there are no earths and this is where the wires come into there own.Couple of years ago i got a call out to a 50 acre small holding where a farmer had lost 12 lambs in a week.I set 30 odd wires around the place and took 28 foxes in 3 weeks.I lamped the place maybe a dozen times over that period and only shot 3 foxes.This shows the value of wires in professional hands well done colin and ratcherman........ donk 12 Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Good stuff.. .. but Peg@gun can you remember what happened to you the last time you put a picture up of a snared dead fox.. ..Cheer's Millet That happened to me last time i put a pic of a snared fox up,i never actually saw the online edition of the paper and the pic got pulled from the paper before it got printed,think it was chilli who pm'd me about it?
