rocket ronnie 243 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 all the years iv been on this site iv never heard so much shite coming out of peoples mouths we go out an do what we do for the love of the sport an to watch our dogs do what there good at no matter what the breed weather bull x or not.as for them having a bad name how have they the people who go out and leave the quarry in the field for all to see have the bad name in my eyes not the dog,an there is people who dont own bull x's who do the same thing so what right do you think you have to slate the dog off.there is plenty of good dog men out there old an young with respect for the game no matter what breed the dog, so bezza i think your a tossa for calling the dog an all the good people who own them f**k the ban and good hunting men an woman Quote Link to post
tomandroz 0 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 Hi, Bit a broad statement from the chap that started the thread in my opinion, My take on it, for what it's worth, is you could pick fault with almost every type of working dog, or human being for that matter, my opinion, is that very rarely do you find a bad dog/breed etc more likely to be a bad owner, that is responsible for the actions of any particular dog, be it bull x or what ever. As is clear from the posts, not all bull x's belong to sixteen year old idiots, with no self control or morals. In fact it appears it's the opposite, most of them appear to belong to genuine people, and in the hands of genuine people, I dont see the breed is a problem....... Cheers, Tom Quote Link to post

greatwhitehunter 47 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 personally i like bullcrosses because of their abilty to catch bigger animnals than rabbits but i would not set a dog on an animal which i couldnt eat. i think you do have fashions in dogs it seems alot of people are into the bull crosses at the moment who knows what sort of cross will be more popular in a few years time.
