see there a hare catchingjack russel got toes from feild with big hare , you have to laugh ,jrt crosses for hares wolf crosses for deer , mastifff greyhounds etc for bears feching brilliant , and better whats the best ferret or whats the best colour for chaseing rabbs ,must be geting near the moon time

tell you what mate if you can bring a jack russell down my way i'll give you £100 for every hare it catches if you give me a tenner for every one it misse's on the lamp!

sorry did'nt get as far as the earlier reply saying the same thing!! great mind's think alike! hares should have been run in the daytime pre - ban! but sometimes where the land was too small for a decent course it was o.k. in my book to sharpen up with a few in the lamp.

6/6 on fens on boxing day before the ban

only seen about 3 hare with the dog, 1 slip and only caught 1 out of 3, he caught the last one

 

was daytime, never seen a hare under the lmap yet, but i dont mind if he gets his second under the light. a hare is a hare ..

shows you how much they no about game saw good lurcher tiol to catch hares on lamp on some ground , see when youve traveld alot you never make asumptions about game being easy on the lamp as weather conditiond can make it very difficult to get close to game , people who have done it for a living or in a big way no whats easy and whats not ,not silly people who jump on a band wagon , and say this and that eejits

My best was with my SalukiXDan dog killed 7 day time on a keepers day dog working all day off slip. Some out from under his nose, some fields away some killed in woods. Had some real good days with him in borders.
