Lamping hares is pointless with a dog at night a jack russel could probably catch one.

I have seen loads of lamping DVDs and they have seen hares and said that they are easy as piss to lamp and more sporting day time. Hares are very scarse where we are and I dont think Ive ever seen more than 1 in my life

well no disrespect will, but there is no issue on them being easier cause they are, but piss easy they not and f**k me they can still run. Anyone who says they cant run on the lamp are lying i have never seen a hare run about with a white flag

see there a hare catchingjack russel got toes from feild with big hare , you have to laugh ,jrt crosses for hares wolf crosses for deer , mastifff greyhounds etc for bears feching brilliant , and better whats the best ferret or whats the best colour for chaseing rabbs ,must be geting near the moon time

 

well lads, really I am shocked to say the least at some of these comments, about how many hares killed in the daylight, I used to course on the Home of the scottish coursing, my dog collie cross with the best coursing greyhound blood in him, ((( I mean the best, from Cotton king, who won the waterloo

cup and trained by Hardie wright, and down to a dog called 100 pipers, owned trained by jOHNNIE WALKER, this was my true love, COURSING, and in my time if you had a dog what 2out of three, you had a dog, at this time of year Jan, Feb, give the hare a 50 yards to 60yards start and you had sport

sigle handed, and believe me lads I ran on that land from the late fifties up to 86 and I had witnessed dogs bieng carried of the field, over those years and I ran dogs on that land all of that time, without trouble from any one, because we went about our business, in the proper manner, and also the hare does not run any faster today as what he done allthose years ago, and I WILL TELL YOU ALL I would never boast How many my dog could do but I offered any one who thought he had a dog, a bit of sport, thank you all, and please to all with any snide remarks, after this post the guy who said ten hares, on that land he would not last with ten rabbits and I am telling the truth,

the mother of my young dog , caught 14 hares in 3 vists to this land , between january and febuary 2007...ahem i mean 2003

used to have a whippet/grey that caught one after the other in the day time 50 acre field. we do nt have many down this way, he only ever caught one in one night as the ground is quite hilly in places, so much easier for the dog in the daytime.

dummies oot willf 111 ,so thats you expierence on hares watching poxy dvds , why not go on a ferreting course with lurchers as youll learn fech all at times watching a dvd in the comfort of your cot mate,, micky the jack rusel packed in last nite after second hare but caut the fisrt one lol , i realy wish people would [bANNED TEXT] through expierence not through the eyes of a dvd or hear say , ive met alot of young one latelt and you no there expierence through a dvd and an odd days ferreting , shows you how it will be in years to come , i dont think i have the best dogs at one qaurry but good at most things will but it aint east keepeig it going mate , maybe in a few years time when you learn to drive youll learn more and see more and if you get to fly youll even learn more cheers

never said the best ,but got alot of miles put in to no whats what long before silly comps and people saying this and that ,got decent dogs , cant be the best if you use them any were and whatever gets up is game ,never been into one qaurry catch whats there only way ,for me, olli says thing s, that if youve traveld all over you no hares in some places dont suit the lamp but suit the day time ,willf let us see your good dogs cause i can show you some no prob just away shortly mate , cant stand eejits makeing silly remarks ,you are a dreamer if u think they just stand there ,

Someone I know who has been out with you said that you always say that you have the best running dogs, a load of shit and you are aswell. I dont do lurchers but if I did im sure they would be just as classy as your mutts.

 

IF YOU DO NOT do Lurchers how can you make a judgement on another mans dogs, yes he likes to bang his drum, But he does have the dogs to prove it,I have seen them, and in my opinion, they are from the top shelf,
