shamo28 1
If you have a good dog you have a good dog (pre-ban)but its a waste of time on this forum to say what your dogs records are cos i have noticed some members dont like it and it causes bikkering just been reading the BUSHY thread where he claims he has a good dog.. its a shame cos it would be good to have more chat on coursing (pre-ban) of course Quote Link to post
chartpolski 24,598
Lamping hares is pointless with a dog at night a jack russel could probably catch one. Lets arrange a night out mate; for every hare your Jack Russel takes, I'll give you £100, for every one my Lurcher takes, you give me £10, see who has the most money at the end of the night !! The people who have never ran a hare, day or night, allways talk the most shite !! Quote Link to post

olliedakennard 0
Yeh the jack russel bit was obviously a figure of speech to show how easy it is compared to a day time hare.A true sportsman would only run rabbits and other pests(foxes)pre ban of course at night rather than a animal which will make alot more sport being ran in daylight. Day time hare has allways been my favourite quarry, and the best test of a dog,; but if you think they are easy in the lamp, then you are lamping in a different place to me .... or not lamping at all !! Yes, they are EASIER, in the lamp.... but EASY... don't think so !! Quote Link to post
