ginga john 268
My God! here i am away in Dublin working for a few weeks and looks like its gonna be a long un i got 100 euros out of the cash machine and thought that would do for a week, well the beer is 4.25 a pint so its just the one of those the sausage and mash was 12 quid (and was about three quids worth) and thats from the Travel lodge, its Hilton prices in the Travel Lodge!! The point of the rant is thus: with the exchange rate being what it is, and the prices in ireland being a bit higher than London it looks like a long and expensive job. And just to add insult to financial injury 5 days internet access or 120 hrs costs another 35 quid, i get a whole months worth at home for a lot less why did i come here And with working 7 days a week i wont even get time to make some new friends Oh well, its a job i suppose

jigsaw 11,899
Glad yer enjoying yerselves lads in the last few years when we the Irish went to the gamefairs of Britain,we lost 20 cent in every pound when exchanging the currency. Its about time the tables turned. And yes Ireland is a robbing pocket stripping place. But in a short time you'll be back home and us poor souls will still be getting shafted FULL TIME.As our government says with a twisted smile''NICE TO HAVE HAD YE''

ginga john 268
Well fair go to the Irish lads, you can go over to the north or the UK and your Euro will go that much further as well as the prices being cheaper, i went to the Tesco and had to pay 3.50 euro for a poxy little salad in a pot, 3.99 euro for a packet of ham and 1.45 euro for a little blueberry muffin, no point going on as its not going to get any cheaper, i suppose i'll just have to eat a bit less and the drink is definatley off the menu. The last time i was here for a wedding the beer was 2 punts a pint and everyone was moaning their guts out. I guess its the same everywhere the euro takes over, its good for the property prices but not for the bread and butter. And A, its all for rocks where i am, two gone last night alone and like toxteth on acid :o makes shameless look like blue peter
