weejohn 3
headed out last night for a shine to see if i could come across a fox. unfortunately for this vixen it hung around a bit too long. i decided last night i would venture a bit further over the permission and see what it was like. while walking it sounded like i was walking on broken glass as there was a nice frosting on the ground and the moon was shining bright. i spotted this vixen around 150 yards away sitting at the side of a wood but couldnt make it out properly so stalked in a bit closer to get a nice clear shot. this was the only fox i had seen probably due to all the noise i was making. on returning to the pickup i noticed my rifle had started to freeze up, there was a nice frosting all over the mod ,scope and even the stock started to freeze over. the worst part of the night was when i had noticed that somehow one of the turret covers has managed to unwind and be lost on the hill so if anyone has one spare for a leupold 8.5-25x50mm scope it would be much appreciated Edited January 6, 2009 by weejohn Quote Link to post
