Does anyone know if the above gun is Steel Proof?

 

I know you supposed to look for this symbol but it hasnt got it. Does this mean its not steel proof?

Only way to find out is to take some photos of the proof marks, post them up and we'll go from there!

There is no other proof marks other than a star and the Gardone proof mark.

If there is no "Fleur de Lis" mark on the flats or the action then it is not specifically Steel Shot proof. But on the other hand it will likely be able to shoot standard steel.

 

What chamber length is she? And is she multichoke or fixed?

The Browning is a Multi choke 28" barrels and 70mm chamber.

try contacting browning but remember nothing tighter than 1/2 choke or 3 notch's on a browning steel doesnt compress like lead is it invecto or invector + chokes if its invector + it should be ok if you got it from a shop or dealer contact them
