What colour what you call this dog??

Recommended Posts

we kept two pups back out of my bitches last litter ( mum and dad both chocolates) all pups were too by this one. I would 100% call him red but he is ever so chocolatey on his back. His almost like a red/chocolate rather than black/tan. just me and my other half keep rowing over what colour he is. have attached a few pictures

In the first pic you can see faint tan points above his eyes and on his cheeks and forelegs. I would say hes a chocolate and tan. Its like the black and tan gene but because hes chocolate the pattern is not expressed as definitively.
