Just out of interest, if you had the opportunity to purchase a brand new quad still in the crate of similar build quality to that of Honda/Yamaha for £1500, would you?

If you dont want it ill buy it!! :) Let me know what you decide!!

I will keep you all informed on where I'm going with this and could prove very beneficial!

Legit with paperwork it would be a gift can't get a good secound hand one for that.

These are 100% legitimate with all the relevant docs and paperwork to register them for the road.

Further details are going to follow, but I'm just waiting to see what kind of response the polls going to get as I dont want to waste my time offering something if theres no point.

I voted yes and have bought brand new in 2004 and still have it. The thing to think of is to keep it unless you have a reasonable offer should you fancy a change, as the sad thing is just like anything with an engine, they're worth feck all when you want to sell

if these are chinese imports dont bother 4 years ago i set up a business importing quad bikes from china after 9 months of negotiating and laerning chinese customs i recieved my first and let me say last container with all the hassel with import and everything else if any one wants my contacts i will give them there email adress's the quality of the bikes was crap one didnt last an hour before the gear box collapsed i still have 3 that i kept you could never ride them hard or work them they can be impossible to start and im glad they sent a lot of spares because you need them other things to take into consideration the chinese deal in US dollar the pound is very weak at the moment so this will put the price up also the chinese do not use the word no when dealing with you so when they have agreed to everything you want you might not get it this is why all the cheap quad companys are disapereing if you want to check out where they all come from not just quads but everything you can think of camo, bikes, nives helmets, armoured cars you will be amazed check www.made-in-china.com www.alibaba.com i am not going to get in an argument over any of this i spent a lot of money doing this and never made a profit it was a big learning curve if anybody needs advice i will freely give it as i know know all the pitfalls

amen to that, you get what you pay for,if its for pleasure about a field then maybe i would buy one and take a chance.but if for work, you need a strong, reliable workhorse that wont be laid up while waiting for some taiwanese part to be sent.

These are in fact from China from a company called Jianshe Yamaha, yes an asian subsiduary company of Yamaha and they certainly cannot be branded as the usual chinese rubbish such as Shineray,Lifan, Loncin etc etc, which do fall to bits.

These are exactly the same build quality as the Yamaha Wildcat and if you do your homework on these and look around you will see for yourself that Honda use the exact same design and build quality on some of their models except for 1 thing, The engine, everything is else is identical and built exactly the same.

Please dont confuse these with rubbish that drop to bits within the half an hour, these are built to last for either work or play.

'Chongqing Jianshe YAMAHA Motor Co.,Ltd. (CJYM) is a large motorcycle enterprise jointly set up by Jianshe Industrial Group and YAMAHA Motor Co., Ltd. of Japan. It was approved by Chongqing municipal government in November 1992 and put into operation in 1994.

THE BUILD AND QUALITY IS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB - SO GOOD INFACT THAT YOU GET A 24 MONTH WARRANTY - THATS BETTER THAN HONDA !

I bought a new Chinese Loncin 250 quad about 18 months ago. Got it fom a local agricultural merchants with full warranty. It's got a Yam 250 engine, 2WD with reverse and tow ball and racks, all road legal and have a had a few niggles, (broken indicator relay, slipping gears, exhaust coming loose) but for £2300 OTR

(inc. Vat) I've had great service from the suppliers and about 300 miles worth of hard Moorland use and it's been worth the money.

im not trying to cause trouble make sure you are dealing with the factory not a middle man as can usually be the case i got a replacement engine for free the shipping and import tax cost £350

I'm not dealing with the factory as these quads are already in the UK and all the 24 month Warranty is honoured by the sole UK importer & distributor so there's no need to worry about waiting for parts from overseas, the parts stock held for these in the UK is absolutely massive.

Like I've already said, these aren't your usual chinese rubbish, alot of dealers are successfully retailing these for £2700 because people find the build quality and reliability amazing and excellent value for money.

To be honest though, I dont think there is going to be enough genuine interest to enable me to offer only 10 of these for £1500 each.
