reynardhunter 3
good for spotting game but realy if you no your ground and use the lamp properly ,dont needone works good with predators , good for lamp shy areas ,what ive found if you lamp on the [bANNED TEXT] nites certain areas you get results with white lites ,we used red years ago but not so much now unless spooky game , but handy to have about, but wind and conditions and feeding pateerns and hunting knowledge better than a filter mate  ah i need a bucket! Quote Link to post
reynardhunter 3
if you ask me i think filters are only dimming over powered lights.as win said being cunning with the lamp is most important. some of the biggest catches where before these filters where invented and lights where not as strong either. just something i think about. macker tell the truth macker! your a blind c***t cant see with the filter Quote Link to post
macker 5
that maybe true i am a bit blind. but lets face it if the dog is good enough he will get there. tried one for a while and i think if you keep lamp either side of bunny rather than straight on it you will get a few more runs. i dont see the point of lamping further than you are willing to slip on. each to their own i suppose. how is your bitch rynard hunter macker Quote Link to post

brock1 2
i use red amber & blue becouse i got them given years ago by a mate there for a colemans lamp but fit my striker. yes i think they make a diffrence but like people have sead some of the lamps we use these days are a bit powerfull just for rabbits becouse they seen to stay near the sides of field & run to the edge. you dont need a big bright light it just seems to chase them before you get close with some of the bright lamps i prefared useing my old lance on rabbits you seemed to get closer before they spock. but i am to greedy to buy a new lamp lol so my striker will have to do but the veriable power might sort this problem out but i cant say becouse i have never used one. what ever you use the mane thing is that you enjoy yourself & sometimes them long slips end up being a better couse witch whould make my night more enjoyable for me rather than just catching squater.
