Guest Rod&dog
Ive just started using red,Amber and green filters and notced things arnt as jumpy or lamp shy as they are with a usual lamp light,,Had better recent results.!! Quote Link to post
whin 463
good for spotting game but realy if you no your ground and use the lamp properly ,dont needone works good with predators , good for lamp shy areas ,what ive found if you lamp on the [bANNED TEXT] nites certain areas you get results with white lites ,we used red years ago but not so much now unless spooky game , but handy to have about, but wind and conditions and feeding pateerns and hunting knowledge better than a filter mate Quote Link to post
lamp+battery 98
i use a red yellow and blue never had any bother with them as yet, good in small fields and lamp shy game witch is commen round here, as there is a few young lad startin out round here and just havent got a clue how to lamp a field propley, and think they can slip a dog on a 200 yeard rabbit lb Quote Link to post
nighteyes 275
slip in the red then off game caught then back on, myself i woulnt lamp with out one We lamp with one leave mine on for most runs but my mate is on making a better one because the one for the striker a pain in the butt leave mine on in certain places or close runs, and can be a pain in the arse at times Quote Link to post
macker 5
if you ask me i think filters are only dimming over powered lights. as win said being cunning with the lamp is most important. some of the biggest catches where before these filters where invented and lights where not as strong either. just something i think about. macker Quote Link to post
