With regards the police issue, I get the impression from IanB's & J Darcy's post that the police have not been involved in THIS issue but have been involved in different issues in the past.

 

 

Wondering if these other issues could be talked about openly or at least explained.

 

My opinion, in doing so the site admin puts itself in a strong position in being upfront and open to all members, and also members are going to be left clearly knowing what, when and why. & what shouldnt be said or even hinted at. (would be a good reference/benchmark of not bringing the site into hot water).

 

The post could be made by admin, then locked.

I've only just logged and and read this rubbish, to reiterate what other mods have said, we CAN'T read peoples pm's and noboby has supplied anyones information to another party.

Hunt within the law and don't make posts of an illegal or threatening nature, the mods and admin have said countless times that people who post about illegal activities or make threats and accusations are making trouble for themselves but most of the time we get pm's asking why particular threads have been removed...................well this thread answers that

a picture or a post prove bugger all,,if such are used by the police to try and charge you with animal crimes any brief will blow it out of the water,a simple 'the picture was staged' or the post was bull shit is enough to get you out of the police station and charges dropped. the only way that they will get the cps to prosecute is if they have indipendant first hand proof.

 

on aother note if this forum did provide info to the police its bang out of order and beneath contempt,however he maywell not have been left with much choice,even if the allegations were proved false a charge of obstruction would still stick if the site admin didnt help.

 

also worthy of note is that that pathetic animal charity the RSPCA employ fulltime I.T workers to check out all the huntin forums.

Did you see any of these pics fishfish? first pic hares and deer lined up for EON shot illegal to take deer at night, and out of season!!! 2 pages later he puts pics up with him holding live hares and the dog in the other hand, he ignored the warnings he was given and went on to claim all game was released unharmed it would take a very good brief to blow that out of the water

well Waz, basically over the years we have had authorities contact us with regards information on certain people. This can be for all manner of reasons, all of which will be illegal. However, Ian has not given any information away and neither does he have to. I know a while ago there was something to do with Veternary supplies. Now after Ginger French getting a stretch you could safely assume no one would be daft enough....but they are.

 

Either way, no information was forthcoming to any uniformed person.

 

 

So basically, just carry on posting within the law and everything will be hunky dory.

 

Just to add, i know theres a few "little" sites going now with pics that are , to be blunt, very graphic indeed, together with descriptions. They will get people in a lot of bother. The 'net is not just "you and a few hunters" it can be seen by the world, and i urge people not to be drawn into the trap of thinking that "private" sites are "safe" because in no uncertain terms they are not!

 

I hope this has, to some extent, put peoples minds at rest on some issues they may have been mulling over. Its a shitty, long winded thread but i hope it serves as a wake-up call some. Good hunting to you all, and all the best for 2009....JD

I think mark is a very bitter man, he got banned off the site for being a nob, and is now just trying to cause and stir trouble, the link he put on here is a load of bollocks i looked on there a while ago after some one else put it up, and all mark and a few others off here did on there was slag ianb and all the rest of the mods off, Have you any proof that you were arrested mark ??????

From what I understand, it has NOTHING to do with hunting, coursing, pics of kills, etc ! Mark tried to destroy Warrenner; Warrenner set the police on Mark, using some of Marks posts on here as evidence of harrasment; Mark then saw the oportunity to have a go at the site in general, and Ian, Wilf and Millet in particular ! Thats about it !

if this was the case dont you think the police would have come to see me because it was my lads dog he stole and admitted to third partys that he knew all along that the bitch was stolen i dont think the warrener would involve the police after all the bloke who appears in the dvds with him killing foxes with my sons bitch as two convictions for badger digging which was very high profile at the time involving national newspapers and as part of the sentencing was banned from keeping dogs and the warrener admitted on this site to being friends with this bloke and having the dog of him then appearing in films with him i dont think the warrener would want this sort of thing coming out in court and getting into the press he would be a much bigger propaganda coup to the antis than mb would ever be.
