Tiff 36
buy only what you can afford, in this case size doesn't matter. If she bitches about it, she isn't the one for you, as you have to ask yourself if she will stick with you when the going is tough?
craftycarper 0
i already know the answer i think.....up to £1200 already, give and take a few quid i think. fireman 10,898
£1200-2000 for a ring .Bugger that my dogs would get some new runs and she would have a new brush to clean them out,if she was still here and wanted a ring to put her finger into i'd bend over .You should ask her mum for her granny's old wedding ring or some other ring from the family, sentimental and free
gnipper 6,467
Tell her to feck off, she'll be the one whinging when you can't afford nights out or holidays coz she's wearing the cause of your debt round her finger. Its only a piece of metal to prove she's got you by the balls, if she's not happy with the fact that she won't have to give head anymore and can stop you doing what you want theres summat wrong with her. I look at it the same way mate...Mmmm new gun? another landie? or whatever...maybe its a bloke thing I think as much as you feel happy spending. I would never go in to debt to buy it. I spent a lot less the second time, thats a fact. In truth, I was probably still paying for the first one, when i bought the second. But that's a long time ago. I wouldn't let someone pressure me to spend money I didnt have. If I had it, then I would spend it. And never spend any more than you are prepared to loose...I learnt that the hard way.. Tiff 36
IMO it's all about the "live on credit" lifestyle so popular now, and all about the materialistic cows that have made the marriage racket the billion dollar industry it is. Have you ever seen the TV show "Bridezilla's"? Crazy crazy crazy people. It is just a piece of paper, marriage will not ever change a relationship for the better. The same things you BOTH bitch about now, you will BOTH bitch about after you are married. If you don't run around on her (unless she doesn't mind ) , and you treat her well, she should be happy with whatever you give her. IMO anyway.
