stealthy1 3,964
If your worried about fox or badger in the large hole, have a scout around for footprints when you first arive, also look for latrines where badgers are concerned, you will soon know if they are about. Quote Link to post

Do you prefer blokes i was thinking thesmae thing lol. i have a guy comig to my permission with ferrets soon to get rid of some rabbits where a cant snare, but amongst the rabbit holes are what look like badger holes, quite a few of them. i was wondering would rabs live this close to badgers or what, there are fresh signs of rabs around ie droppings and scrapes but are they living there. and therer are also a lot of small holes, notr main holes round the badger ones arethese for air? If there is a badgers sett within the warren you really should leave well alone. As you are probably aware disturbing a badgers sett is a criminal offence and all it will take is one of tree hugging brigade to see you and contact the police and you could be in for some serious grief. If it is a badgers sett there will be old bedding outside, possibly straw or leaves. I have a few warrens that have badger setts within them and i dont ferret them. Quote Link to post
