joe cash 0
I wanted it for foxs manly i wouldn't be intrested in shooting rabbits, leave them for the dogs and ferrets get a bit of sport out of them. Not to sure of the makes as i say dont no a lot about rifels only what ive seen and ive seen a good few foxs killed with the 22mag . Quote Link to post
arveyboy 0
if its for fox only you'll want a dedicated foxing rifle which will almost definitely be a centrefire round. the .22 centrefire range seems to be the most popular or you could go for .243 if it takes your fancy. the best thing is probably visit your local dealer before you even think about applying. he or she will be more than happy to inform you on what you might want and you'll be able to handle a number of different rifles whilst there. good luck jack Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
you would find it hard to get 243 for fox alone. you would more then likely have to have deer on it to. i would go for 22 centrefire. my choice would depend on your land if its large and open then the 22/250 would give you great range as long as you no the rifle and able to take those sort of shots on. if the land isnt as big then 223 will be more then you need. lots of cheap ammo to. or pick up a cheap 222 super accurate and easy to find cheap Quote Link to post
