gluebeam 0
The 453 and 452 BOTH have adjustable triggers..the 453 is simply a new design trigger and a SET trigger! In answer to the original question I strongly suggest you do NOT cut the original spring...you will likely not get it right and there is no going back! Simply get an Eric Brooks trigger kit... cz452.com/ ...got mine direct a few months back and cost about £8.32 including delivery...lots and lots of trigger adjustments and no cutting anything...so you can always go back to where you started! if the trigger is adjustable then whats the problem, or do the trigger kits inprove the overall feel of the trigger? Being adjustable doesn't turn a bad trigger into a good one, and there is only so much adjustment you can do with any trigger!! The Brooks kit offers a massive transformation!! Quote Link to post

I have 2 cz. a LR and HMR and went to my local gunshop and asked about a Trigger kit , they said we don't keep them we just cut 3to 4 coils of the spring I said I did not want to do that, but they said there gunsmith does the same. So I went home and done bothe springs and now they are lovely. I did cut 4 off the hmr and found it too light but all you do is re tension it with the retaining nut to fine tune it . Its not rocket science. Quote Link to post

A lot of accessories/replacements for guns cost a fortune and deliver little, the Brooks kit (especially bought direct) costs a pittance and delivers a load!! My view is it's the Best and Cheapest upgrade you can buy...I suspect a few others may agree!! Quote Link to post

Yes I totally agree about the long pull, but I think weight is the main issue whilst walking the field, and the cz is a heavy pull. I personaly would not want a light and short trigger whilst bunnie busting in case of accidental dischage but thats just my veiw. Quote Link to post
