Frozen Water Bottles

Someone has said on another forum that you should put a little sugar in the water bottles and it stops it freezing and by doing that the ferrets get some glucose from it as well which helps them in cold weather, but not too much sugar though.

i like to fill my bottles with hot water it gives the bottles a few more hours but the sock thing and changing the bottles is the best

 

 

That wouldn't work.

Hot water freezes faster than cold water - it's call the Mpemba effect.

Try getting out of bed early doors and putting a fresh drinker on instead of staying in bed!!!! Then changing the drinkers every few hours

Im up at 5 every morning fresh water cleaning all the animals out feeding then the same again in the after noon then evening then last thing at night
