The Sporting Agent 0
I could never speak on the whole, but the one near me needs a fecking good hiding! I know everyone is different and hopefully no where near as much as a prick as this guy but surely thats there job to look for poachers and thats what they get off on!It would be boring other wise???Or am i wrong? I'm not sure its fair to say keepers get off on chasing poachers, but sure enough it is part of their job in many regards. Poach or don't poach. Hunt or not. Like or loath the stupid ban; we are all afected by it in diferent ways and for the most part we will all continue to "hunt" in whatever form we choose. But I see nothing to be gained except bad feeling and negativity (within field sports, and the public opinion) if we continue to piss on each others chips. Ask permision, work with those who either own or manage the land, invairably they will havbe a financial commitment to the land as well as wanting sport on there; pissing on chips just creates bad feeling amongst people who should be working together and quite frankly is stupid. The Sporting Agent 0
Yes Sporting agent you are right but like you say,we need too find a happy medium but with the new law i think its harder for us! Qute agre; we are all no matter what area of field sports we partake in, suffering because of this act (as are the foxes etc) and other recent daft laws seemingly weighed against rural communities and field sportsmen. But just because the type of hunting you do may be "banned" does not mean its acceptable to fight against other in a similar boat; the happy medium must be saught. The way some people talk you'd think there is not a keeper in the country with a terrier, running dog, spade or Deben collar! There is a place for everyone to have the sport they want; but we must all realise that others are also entitled to their sport within our community.
