Rabbithunter 456
Been ferreting & lamping a bit of ground now for 3-4 years. And it's always had a small shoot on it. I've seen signs going up warning poachers/tresspasser will be prosecuted. So i called round to the farm to get the craic and the farmer informed me that the keeper is getting ratty about people going on, and i was advised to come on when the shooting season ends. advised, not TOLD. I was told the keeper will just ask me to move on if he finds me. So are we going into the great dogging vs shooting game again? why the feck has the keeper only started bothering us now? Jealousy? so feck him, i'll be back on there as i have permission off the farmer... now, whats the best way to attract pheasants to one location?

undisputed 1,664
quickest way to lose permission is to piss off the paying customers...would it be to much of an imposition to heed what the farmer advised and stay away till shooting season is finished. Maybe worth while having a friendly chat with the keeper a bottle of spirits is a good way to get on his good side.

All I'm saying mate is that bad blood will only lose you any legit ground you have. A wee bit of courtesy goe's a long way but it's up to you.
Rabbithunter 456
im sick of being courteous..... dont if for 3-4 years, got a little bit of ground...... but every shooter/stalker that i bump into, their is no reasoning with them....why do they think they are above the lads of the lurcherworld? feck em.. mole trapper 1,693
how did that long-net serve you? Twas 40 purse nets, that if you recall i suggested you improve on your knot tying before you sell anymore, nearly all of them slipped badly.
