Guest great white hunter Posted April 18, 2006 Report Share Posted April 18, 2006 hi,im 13 years old and i shoot with a .410 I think i am out growing it now because ive had it for 3 years and i can handle a 12 bore. The man i go shooting with uses a 12 bore, do you think i should up-grade to a 12bore or up-grade to a 20 bore for a variety.(i only shoot rabbits) . thanks! Quote Link to post

Guest sushie Posted May 16, 2006 Report Share Posted May 16, 2006 Alot of people step up to a 20bore from a 410 as they have less recoil than a 12b,some shooters as they get older also use them instead of a 12 for the same reasons.I have shot with one and was quite impressed,an old keeper i knew also said that in his opinion they were as good as a 12b in the right hands!
