labsnlurchers 39
oh ok labsnlurchers as you can see by the pics they have done a bit of work . oh well back to the drawing board Dont be disheartened, if its a cross that you truly beleive in then your beleif will be the same after the lurcher has seen some more work but only you know your dogs and know what they are capable of so the decision in the end has to be yours. I can see that they have done some work and you have the right idea about breeding. You look at the bitch and critically analyse her working and any areas she is lacking in you select your stud for. while you are giving the lurcher 12/18 months more work you could work on improving the springers retreiving, that way when you come to sell the pups you can say 'here this is what the sire does and this is what the bitch does' people will be more confident in your lines if you can show them 2 good working parents Link to post

labsnlurchers 39
I think so too, twat! still trying to work out who it was! Dont think it was the response they wanted from me though, think they wanted me to say 'yeah sure ill put my lab cross over your springer cross bred from a lurcher that dont retreive and isnt proven and a spaniel that eats it so it dont have to retreive! let me know when the pups first season is!' I was going to say chocolate is BAD but thought id send it via pm so i didnt embaress him, then he wasnt there for the pm! Should have just spoke my mind instead of trying not to say horrible things about someone elses dogs! lol! Link to post
labsnlurchers 39
I have first hand seen these dogs work, the lurcher although only a pup is 100% on everything and the springer has seen hard graft everyday of its life. These dogs are not for the faint hearted. OK so you know the dogs then ferreter joe Link to post
