the springer is getting better slowly and i do give her a mini mars bar when she does well

:icon_eek::blink::blink:

Are you quite sure that you want to breed of a dog that won't retrieve and a bitch that eats her retrieve. I take it you'll cut down on the chocolate intake when her teeth rot and she can't eat her retrieve.

well thanks lads , i think i've been in the game long enough to see a winner . and for you information i didnt see anyone thinking a lab cross was a bad idea . infact im going to be using a superior gun dog.

always thought it would be an intresting x ,retrieveing instinct,good hunting abilty and nose,bags of stamina,etc but the short queen ann yype legs of the ess has been the thing thats put me off,i think its the kind of x you would have to do then run on so you could show people what they are before you could start selling them as a working lurcher,good luck with the pups,sure you havnt just had an acidental mateing?? you'd have to yse a stright hound to start with

Try filling them with chocolate, it works a treat.

the springer has caught hares in cover so i wouldnt be such a load of doubting ninnies. i quite like the idea of using a retrieving dog , if all goes well i may well try and get a mating from labsnlurchers .

come on , honestly cant you see the benefits at all ???

if the dogs just a pup then whats the point in breeding from a dog that isnt a seasoned proven worker? i wouldnt think of breeding one of my running dogs until they were atleast 5 and have proved them selves on all quarry
