afternoon and late night

Recommended Posts

hi every one

went out Saturday afternoon for an hour and half while the misses went shopping,{be rude not to} went to the business park to see what was about.

went to a sniping position of mine just sat in the car and stayed very still it wasn't long before there was 3 bunnies out around 35yds to 40yds took me second mil dot down for point of impact locked on THWACK missed and they all fooked of back in . so waited a 45 minutes and out popped another this one wasn't getting away, locked on nice and steady THWACK over it goes stone dead. then me mobile rang had to go and pick her indoors up so that finished that session.

here is some video footage of the visit i hope this works

then decided to go to the local hotel where i have permission and took me NV scope had a little look round first to see were the most activity was and decided to stay at the just past the car park to the rear of the property.

by this time it was about 10:30pm and started to get a bit chilly -4 degrees ,so sat in the car for most of the sniping shots with the window open and rifle ready .

at 11:30pm the first target of the evening presented itself about 35yds to 40yds with a little help from one of the hotel car park lights and a little moon, i could see the dark silhouette of a Bunnie run across the grass to its toilet area . so just as it was popping out a dump i popped it off i was pleasantly surprised when i went to get my fallen quarry that the shot i placed was straight through its eye killed it instantly :clapper:,even more surprised when i paced it back to the car and it was 42yds :gunsmilie: .

in the back it went and sat it out again about an hour had passed and another 2 came out these were right on the hedge line so heads were popping up and down into the grass but could see them clearly through the NV scope shouldered the s410 and THWACK!THWACK! both of them over and out one went down with a head shot the other just froze so gave me enough time to quickly reload and take it out so in the back they went.

and had a little drive round the car park to get the car a bit warm as it was down to - 6 by this time it was about 3:30am so had one more look around and luck would have it there was another out so THWACKED this one too sorry no video fotage of the night shooting .but working on some sort of adapter for my video camera which has night vision on it but here is some pics fist pic is of the night shoot and the second pic is the night and day together 5 in all thoroughly enjoyed my self :boogy::gunsmilie::gunsmilie:
