Guest air gunner
I was going to say thats some scope you have on there!!!! whats a better model the s200 or s410? the lower the number the better the gun? Quote Link to post
midge28 6
not sure on better model cause i never shot a s200 , but i think you will get a s200 cheaper than a s410, you may be best seeing if you can try both rifles out before u decide what suits you best, advice given to me was if the gun feels right then buy it, Quote Link to post
lewismac1 1
I Couldnt Be Doing With a Scope That Big Though Lol,Bet It Cost a Didnt It ? Yeah nikko sterling 60mm Obj Lense. Its got a 32x zoom. So you can literally see the rabbits eye as if its 2 inches from your eye try both rifles out before u decide what suits you best, advice given to me was if the gun feels right then buy it, This is sound advice, Try it before you buy it. Although the S410 is a nice gun aswell... Quote Link to post

Edgar 1
Hi all. I have permission to take cock phesants on my patch. I would rather eat a phesant head shot with an air rifle than one which has been shot gunned any day! Quote Link to post
Guest MURPHY
Having never shot a pheasant with an air rifle could someone please answer this question for me. Surely if your shooting pheasants with a 12ft/lb air rifle and going for head shots your going to have a higher clean kill percentage than if you were to shoot a flying bird with a shotgun? jamie g 17
as long as there on your permission and the farmer says you can shoot them then your fine. just make sure its the season for them Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Well said murphy! you either miss completly or a clean kill with un scathed meat. Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
Having never shot a pheasant with an air rifle could someone please answer this question for me. Surely if your shooting pheasants with a 12ft/lb air rifle and going for head shots your going to have a higher clean kill percentage than if you were to shoot a flying bird with a shotgun? If your gun is a bag of shit and you can't get a head shot then the answer would be no. However if you shoot a flying pheasant with an air rifle you're going to be lucky to hit anything. It all depends on your skill as a shooter. They're different tools for different jobs. Quote Link to post
