arveyboy 0
i just went to my dealer to get 250 remmy 17g polymer tips for my .17 hmr. the last time i went which was about two weeks ago they cost £9.50 for a box of 50 which i thought was very good for what they were. today however they were £12. a box which i thought was extortionate another shooting buddy said that at his local dealer the price had increased as well. is it happening everywhere or are certain dealers feeling the credit crunch more than others? cheers, jack Quote Link to post
jamie g 17
yes they where £9.50 at my shop now there £11.50 thats for hornaday for federal they where £11.50 now there £12.50. trouble is the pound is down agaisnt the $ and the euro at the moment so anything coming in cost more and the shops add this lose onto our prices. i cant see how the hmr ammo can be that dear to be fair its not loike there is lots of powder in there and the bullets are small. its like anything though you have to py it is our sport and like any other sport there is a price. have you seen fishing stuff ! my mate fishes in matchs and bait and odds and sods is like £30 to £50 pound a match not including the fee to fish !
