locking wheel nut removal

there are some for sale on ebay about £20 or tire fitters (ats , kwick fit) can take em off for about £2.50 a wheel i had a set on a corsa that i didnt get the key with ats charged me £10 to take em off ...

If there realy tight, weld a normal nut to the locking one, the heat from welding will help loosen it, and you can use a normal socket then. Mind you dont burn the alloy with the welder!

i just wacked a smaller socket it on then whipped it off with the air gun luckly it worked sometimes there alot more f****n trouble than there worth to be honest

LOCKING WHEEL NUTS ARE THE BAIN OF THE MOTOR INDUSTRY.

 

A smaller multipoint socket brayed on will usually get them, or as mentioned the welded on nut and the left handed thread remover, I have a one I could post to you if you get really stuck?? or come to Alnwick and I will take them off for you.
