For deer rabbits and fox you should really be out at dark 'o' clock. Guest ferret feller Posted January 3, 2009 Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 just wander the fields mate in the dark along the hedge and shine the fields should start to make a map in your mind as too where they are.... middle of the town near me at 1 am on the way back from lamping i walked past a fox that just stood there could have been an easy slip... daniel8822 0 Posted January 3, 2009 Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 i see loads of foxs around me ive come about 10 ft away from one just walking around the fields in the day time shooting squirrels. hares ive seen about 10 in the last year or so but hardly any rabbits and ferreting is my favorite way of hunting just leave some smelly meat out in the middle of a field and try to have a go at squeekign them in.
