earthpig 0 Posted January 2, 2009 Report Share Posted January 2, 2009 Been looking at an old photo of my grandfathers of some dog men on a farm in mid wales where they cutting corn the old way and some men with strong type lurchers resembling bull types where very popular back then according to him ,various other types of crosses also they used to wait around and when they cut around the outside and work their way in the game would make a run for it and they would seize the oppotunity to course some wide variity of game ,fox rabbit, hare ,deer i will try and get the picture copied and get it up on here some time in the future he knows most of the families on their including his father and brother on the photo ,i will get the other families surnames and may be some readers will spot some of their ancestors on it , cheers Quote Link to post
