foxy john jnr 12
i put straight in for my .243 with .22 there is no law on how long you have a sponser for as i had mine for about 4 months i took him out and shot over 60 deer in that time which was vouched for, he then give me a letter and i handed that in and the the sponser was lifted i then got a open ticket as well as they were fed up with me keep ringging them up for them to keep checking land, and my fao told me every round you fire is experence so if you can prove that you are are safe shot in 1 month or a year it makes no difference it all comes down to what your sponser writes. and the fao did not ring to check ever which i thought was wrong but then it was know seceret how many deer i shot around my area any help you might need noel give me a call Quote Link to post

Mr_Logic 5
I would expect they would mentor you again for the deer, specifically for the deer. I have experience of 22CF for fox, so my ticket says 243 and 308 OK on my own for fox, but need a mentor currently for the deer. But with a bit of luck that will change soon, done my time, just need to get it cleared off. Quote Link to post
AzMaN 0
so how dose the mentor system work then? do they assign you someone, or do they say "go out with someone you know who has experience?" whats the likelyhood of them asking for a mentor on a first application for a .22lr (oh and shotgun) ?? There are no rules for this mentoring system..it's down to each region to make there own ...but generally YOU will have to find a mentor or you don't get the calibre/condition! Quote Link to post
