i am asking this becuse im curious into who, if they couldnt find permission, would poach so tehre dogs were atleast worked? or would you not risk it.... just been readin gabout how someones dogs were hsot by a farmer.... imo that farmer would be out of buisness in no time if that was me..... :thumbdown:

now i know this is an illegle activitie but the warrener made a fortune with his dvds about poaching so i think i should be able too ask....

me id poach no problem its not fare on the dog not to be able too work....

I think we all have a quick look over the boundaries of our permission but i wouldnt do it with the land owner watching.

Um, if it was the only option then i would poach, but only rabbits never a pheasant, i am to gooder friend with the local keeper and to kill one of his pheasant would be like stabbing him in the back. I once went on a pest control day with him on the shoot and he told me if i see any pheasant out that day i could shoot it but i had many chances to shoot one but i didnt, and if i caught anyone shooting his pheasant with out paying or if they were poaching then they wouldn't do it again.

although i have lots of permission i still poach 90% of the time i think i can honestly say i don't give a monkeys as to where i go if i get moved on i move on simple as that :whistling:

i think most lurcher lads do tbf mate.... just wondered i know iv had a few enconters
i do the same with the ferrets mate poaching with a gun would be a bit more risky though

you dont have to worry about permision or the threat of your dogs being shot if you know how to speek properly to the land owners [that includes game keepers] that is what i done in my area ,and i have been left alone for over 30 years.only problem others have benefited as well .

one night me and a mate lamped a few feilds round hear anyway we were jumpinging over a fence into a wood when we saw a figur go along the endge with a dog we ly under teh hedge i held the dog tight too me and anyway he walked past after stopping too light a fag... i was a bit scared still managed a few bunnies :laugh:
