Jason14 0 Posted January 1, 2009 Report Share Posted January 1, 2009 hello any ideas please?got a 13month old collie greyhound half cross that wont retrieve but runs off with his catch,go to get it off him and he runs off with.it takes about 20 mins to get it off him,hel retrieve dead rabbit in garden all day but in feild hel run off with it!will he come out of it? Give him a call/whistle and allow him 5 mins to return if he doesnt then ignore him, walk away, turn your back on him and walk. he will more than likely crap himself and come to you but dont take the rabbit straight away, give him praise and then try to get the rabbit.
