Rabbithunter 456
were about to start the booking procedure for this years holiday, looking to go in JULY (we do them cheap "SUN" holidays, £9.50 each and they're quite good) Im a bit stuck as to where to go actually, last year we went to cornwall & cleethorpes. COrnwall was good, but i dont fancy the driving again. Cleethorpes was also spot on but was a bit boring. What region would anybody reccomend to take two kids to? they love going to blackpool, but i couldnt stand doing a week there. Im thinking about lincs. skegness area, but is there plenty to do? cheers

k9delboy 138
When our kids were wee, we used to take them for a week to flamingo land and it was brill. One pass covers all your time there. We used to do the theme park 1st hour in the morning before the crowds came in and then we would go outside during the day to see different places. Then we would come back for the last hour in the park as all the crowds had gone. I liked it as much as the kids. Good pubs, entertainment, food etc on site.
mouse 282
depends what your kids like.mine are 7 and 10 and would rather take dogs and go too lakes or dales or dartmoor.why not try scotland if you are up north.good luck in finding somewhere.the sun holiday brochure is out soon because we have just printed 4 million of them at work. we are off to yorkshire dales at easter.looking forward to it. Loads of places along the coast to visit...durdle door, chesil beach, charmouth and more...go looking for fossils if you like or pop into river cottage to see hfw lots of places of interest and fantastic scenery. Also the lizard at cornwall very nice area to visit.

SportingShooter 0
I'm biased But there are some lovely places in Wales. Pembrokeshire is a really stunning place, and even better if you camped and went to perhaps two different sites. Beaches, Walks, plenty of activity centres thats for sure!
