ive only seen a couple of really good russells they came of the jones lines dug two foxes with one today what an engine these dogd have for finding

there are still a few good working russells out there with people who breed them BBB,but like you said the black terriers seem to be popular these days!

You just have to now the right people do a bit of home work on working russells find out who the computer hunters are, And who are actually working russells terriers look in to back ground and so on, Worker to worker i say and hope for the best some work some dont its just the way it is ,look on [Eve of christmas eve ]They are all worker to worker terriers and he has worked dogs over 25 years no lines involved just dogs hes worked over the years and bred of the workers all the best!!!! hes a pic

its not so easy to find a good black dog theres just more good black dogs about nowadays than it is white dogs, i have a white bitch done well for me so far even though shes only had 2 digs and a bolt shes done well enough so far

some one said to me on this site that the people which have put 10+ yearys into breeding are a bit wary to let someone in & let thayer stock improve your own.

 

its hard & frustrating but you just have to keep at it you will find one

thrs a lot of coulered shit around aswell coulered terriers seem to be more fasionable lately it would depend how you define russell - white lakies ? .. i`ve dug in finland and sweden and thrs some good working russells over thr .. you could proberly name 10 people thats got a name in the russell game over here weather thr dogs are any good or not is a differant matter they seem to breed for the money these days .. ken gould had a litter of russell pups on here seemed he`s had a job shifting em i know times are tight but if they whr black uns i think they`d all be gone ..

a mate of mine had 2 pups ordered out that same litter ,he was told they would be white dogs ,when pups were ready they turned out brown ,when questioned on it he said his wife let the bitch out and he wasnt sure which dog had napped her at him saying that the pups stayed were they were ,probebly why he struggling to get rid ,

did`nt know the ins and out of it i was talking about the litter dessy b put up for him is this the same litter ? i was just using this as an example ..
