first hare

had a walk local had to wait til mid afternoon before the ground was runnable...and then i came across this dead hare...it was fit and didnt look injured...wonder how it died... :blink: anyway i took a pic and the dog sneaked in ..he loves his photo being taken,,,, :clapper::clapper:

strange when you find stuff in it!

dogs not even out of breath so there is no way he caught it ;)

the dogs breeding is dam /smokey x dancer...sire/ charlie x foxy....16 months old nearly....running well ....and a good start to the year..... :D

The young dog is looking well Snoop :D He alway's caught my eye when I saw him on post's has a pup doing a spot of rabbiting. How big has he finished up at ? ?

All the best with him mate ;)

cheers breeze he made 27"....he doing alright mate,,,,he doing well on the big land ..and nails a few on the smaller fields round me,,,,he will proberly shine in his second season,,,but he doing enough now to earn his grub... :D

Nice one Snoop .... Like you say this season is more of a learning time and for you to see what youve got to work with come next season.

He will be a different dog again with another summer on his back mate ;)

nice stamp hope he does well u tried him on the big land ie heavy going or you takeing it easy on him,or you treid him on the hill hares ,some one was telling me you had aday up there a while back mate
hes been on the big land whin...fenland and hes doing well he runs with in himself and runs clever but also knows when to drop a gear on the smaller land ...hes also had alook at some blues hares last week ....and did good ...ive been taking it rellativly easy with him and getting him fit as the hares get fit ....we will see how he does this month and next....that when he needs to shine but hes done enough this season to earn his place in the kennel.....hes a big dog and not exspecting to much of him this season.....it was my munchy that went up on blues last year ...hes had a few injuries early season ...and i didnt get him going till mid november ...but hes doing ok now aslwell..... :D

ts going to be a busy summer breeze... :clapper: i got this little git to fetch on now as well... :blink: ..cheers folks.... ;) tomo....we will have a run out before the seasons over... ;) i got a nice bit of land for the big bunnies... ;)
