labadoodle 0 Posted January 1, 2009 Report Share Posted January 1, 2009 if you do a good few retrieves with a plain dummy first to get some of the excitment out of her! then attach a long line/lead to her,then do a retrieve with your rabbit skin! when she picks it up gently reel her in with plenty of encouragment,the quicker you get her back to you this way the better before she thinks about putting it down or shaking! only do a couple of retrieves with the skin,as some dogs will start to play around and not concentrate on bringing you the dummy if they become bored!! just repeat it again the next day! less is more at that age,short 10 min lessons! atb with her!!
