At the end of the day this bloke shouldn't have been there, end of. Sorry if his dogs were shot but he should have known better, more control and the balls to come out his hiding place after the first shot ... whole story sounds like a load of shit though to be honest. There also seem to be a lot of degenerates on this thread saying they'd burn his barns and kill his livestock. Ok, some of you may be that retarded to think this is acceptable but the rest of you jumping on the bandwagon and more than likely pimpley kids. The hilarious thing is that its obvious who you are, one minute its 'nice dog, how's it bred... i'm going to ask my mummy if i can have one for my birthday' and the next it replying to every topic going offering your 'advice and experiance', and 'i'd kill his sheep and burn his barns. That another friend of ours had his dogs shot dead last week while out on the dales... 3 Whippets and a lurcher... All shot for straying out of his own permission and on to another farmers land. The farmer had watched him, for a cpl of hours. Straying on and off his land where his sheep were grazing. He had to leave the dogs were they lay and do one... The farmer was backed by 3 other quad riding farmers....very sad affair but these farmers meant business..... i know what id do if someone shot my dogs and it wouldnt be legal! absolute b*****ds hope they rot in hell! I might be a bit more sympathetic if the 'story' went "The farmer raced acros the field and shot all the dogs" but he never he waited for 2 hours to see if the dogs would be put back under control and they weren't. Remember this boy has lost a few dogs(shit 1s by the sound of it), if revenge takes place like some say they would on here and the farmer loses everything it might be his turn to seek revenge eh? The bottom line is, if the dogs weren't on his land they'd be alive today. I'd be as raging as the next guy if it were my dogs but then again, I wouldn't be as irresponsible as to let it happen in the first place. Everyone to a man on here has slatted the farmer and they all want his guts for garters, the guy is trying to scrape a living from sheep farming ff's.... He is only protecting his assets. It doesn't take much to make a sheep abort and all sheep are pregnant at this time of year, what is he to do? Allow this "pack" of dogs to worry his sheep? Does he wait till they kill a few before he reacts? EVERYONE of us relay on farmers to maintain the countryside we know. It's these same farmers that allow us on their land to do the sport we love. Aye, it might be big to post that you'd kill em etc, but I reckon the guy was within his right.... Before you say, what if it was your dogs... It WOULDN'T be my dogs in that situation!!! A few years ago whlie out with my dogs i spotted two border collies killing sheep they had killed 4 and were still up for more, so i told the farmer whose land it was (Keep in with the locals) He didnt shoot the dogs though just shouted at them to get the f**k home back to his house they were his Strange world eh! 1 Quote Link to post
