runforyourlife 361
Just found out off a friend of mine where i get my pet food from. That another friend of ours had his dogs shot dead last week while out on the dales... 3 Whippets and a lurcher... All shot for straying out of his own permission and on to another farmers land. The farmer had watched him, for a cpl of hours. Straying on and off his land where his sheep were grazing. He had to leave the dogs were they lay and do one... The farmer was backed by 3 other quad riding farmers....very sad affair but these farmers meant business..... Quote Link to post

I'd tell the police that they chased him with their guns too, they are not safe to own one imo Bad crack though, id go skitz if someone done it to mine, id put an add out for all the unstockbroken dogs in the country and dump em on his bloody land! im sure he'd be the first to moan when he has an issue with rabbit or fox etc. Shame to loose good dogs that way. mickb 1
it would be the last thing he ever shot he would find it every hard holding a gun with is harms in plaster and wial trying to catch them in his wheelchair if the dogs were atacking the sheep then bang bang but if they were just running round them no need Quote Link to post

mikecat1 0
its a bit sad realy, even though the farmer is in the right did he have to shoot all of the dogs ??? if he had been watching for that time why couldnt he just come down and tell you to get off. maybe this happens all the time with other trespassers/poachers and the farmers just had enough ?? sad though Quote Link to post
