Right, i have really really bad toothache. Didnt get to bed till 3/4 am and i have woke up at 7.00am with very very bad pain and i look like a hamster, the right side of my face is 'puffy' :icon_redface:

Im taking solpadol AND ibuprofen 400mg and it stops hurting for like 1 hr then its back again, so are there any home remedies or old wives tales i can try to help me out a bit or does anyone know if i go to a & e would they be able to help, the pain is sooooo bad i could cry, its driving me crazy! :wacko:

put a little warm water in a glass then put a teaspoon of salt in it mix it round then wash it hound your mouth for about 30 seconds and spit it out it works i hate the dentist wont go near them the other thing is milk drink it but i aint tried that ;)

mate its an absess iv had them! the pain is the worst iv ever had my jaw got broken and i was supposed to have it wired up but i never went thats what caused my abseses.

the only place for you is the dentist or evesham hostpital in worcestershire the got a dental dpt

iv tryed cloves and pills buy the shit load but they wont help for long!.

pour whiskey onto a bit of cloth, roll it up and bite down on the tooth with the cloth placed over the bad tooth......... ;) may need to do it a few times to get results but it does work

 

 

may i recommend a decent 12 year old scotch?

 

it dosn't help any more but the taste is beautiful ;)

antibiotics will be the only cure, and even then they take a day or two to kick in, if you can see the lump around your gumline, lance it with a needle, that will reduce the pain immeadeatly, be ready for the yellow puss though :sick:
