webber 2 Posted January 1, 2009 Report Share Posted January 1, 2009 As Rob says camo tape may be your answer, but get the cloth type to prevent shine off the varnish on the other type. If you do want to paint it, I would use black exhaust paint, but am not sure if you can get it in matt. webber Quote Link to post

Sounds a good idea. I've felt .223 mods after zeroing and doing a bit of target plinking, they get warm enough if you're shooting off a few rounds. Another option, though it'd be a lot more expensive, would be to get it dipped somewhere like hydrographics. Quote Link to post
