maybe one will end up north in a place were they will get tested on all sorts ,
somehow i dont think firemans going to be shy on what he trys it on and iv got one xd to a lurcher, which will be tested,i kepp looking at the litter and my mind keeps changeing, its between to bitches, one heavey built the other at the mo a lot lighter,iv always favoured a heavey dog but something in the eyes about this little bitch seem like shes trying to understand you when you talk already,7, weeks

simliar to hound crosses and some colli types ive seen ,when we had the three estates in lauder ,ie big rabbit numbers and stony land hilly they would have been great dogs as endurance and feet was important , some land,i hope they go to decent homes , when i had my pups i gave them to nephew and mate so we could see how they went , i picked mines to replace my old dog gave the nephew the one thta looked like a saluki but pacy and mate ,got the bitch which is pacy and for rabbs hares ,mines i want for flushing veni mostly and the odd rabbit day and hare day or nite ,your saluk cross is simlar to my mates dog he has we bred them to a big three qaurter greyhound one qaurt whippet had her for four years but stoppers started to go run her hars any were ,all the best with the pups

the reason there there mate as there not many guys who can do them justice now, if i never had my colli line and they were finished ,i would have one as there qaurrys next to house and some good tough land localy for a dog of that type , most are blinded with saluk cross ,bull cross and whippets , when you breed a specailist cross ie rabbit drawing type of gaurd dog then you need a man to do them justice ,does that not make your own mind up ,without being blatent , some give dogs away some dont no a good dog from a bad one and some want things for fech all , have you advertised in c mans weekly , most poeple want dogs to do abit of everything and they maybs will ,they certainly will have feet and bone with a bit pace , to have an intelegent dog mate you need to be one step in front some on here cant tye there shoe laces lol so what chance you got with a good old fashioned herding type dog , if there daft enough to give hanckock his money then ill say no more mate as i to was stung as a young man ,hope you get the [bANNED TEXT] homes mate

your right, i wonder how meny hancocks sold out of none working blood in the 2 weeks?at 750 pups a year, how meny does that avrage in the 2 weeks these have been ready, people will even be waiting on pups from his dogs,no way will they be as hardy as these tough little buggers, garenteed to go,not like hancock where you have to wait 2 years to find out weater the dogs fit to clean pots or you just spent all your money on and are now stuck with a pile of shit for the next ten years or have to find a pet home and start agian,

yeh, much brighter than me, i dont know anything. just because a dogs a working dog doesnt mean u cant be happy with how it looks.

the bitch used is a better specimem than the one you have trawled the net to find a pick of, and she worhs well in cover alongside terries and lurchers with no fear of anything that enters her path, she moves very well and is a good example of her breed, tough as nails and clever as a collie anyday,i like both colours but id rather have one that works, ;)

Well this may sound like i'm being funny here but these dogs should turn out into belters in every way, they should have all you look for in a modern lurcher and more. They will have drive that should equal any other sort of cross out there, they will also have the feet, body and stamina of anything out there and maybe the only thing they may lack in is super speed and a little nose as the cattle dog hasn't been bred to have a out standing nose, but saying that the dam of the pups has marked rabbits, phesants and partrige in hedgerows and has followed a fresh hare scent for a good few hundred yards so her nose can't be that bad. They will also have the guarding instinct of the acd and god help any fecker that try's to steal one when there older, loyalty to there owners second to none and a natural desire to please you.Now you mention hancock dogs, well i have one and have been waiting 18 months for him to mature and for the penny to drop.I have given up waiting and he is now my misses's dog,a pet who will come out for a mooch now and again but his working days are over,i am keeping a bitch pup back from this litter(i have 2 male dogs already and can't be bothered with another dog to deal with when my bitches come into season)and am putting my time into her for next year.To much % of hit and miss with hancocks dogs,if you get a good un then it's purely down to luck nothing more. These are proper lurchers of an ilk rarely found with all these bull x,saluki x and what not bred for single purpose jobs where as these should be total allrounders, maybe not great hare coursers but everything else they should take in there stride.I'll be fully testing my bitch and have kept a pup as like i have said am moving to west wales soon and need a tougher dog for tougher terrain and tougher work, these should do it,where as the hancock dog can walk the beach with the misses and her dogs.I have had these pups retrieving a rabbit allready, took to it like a duck to water with no problems from any of them and they will be meeting the ferrets this week as well.

think that sums it up,hancocks ....girls pets unless you are lucky enough to pick a good one out of the 750 a year to choose from or a hard as feck acd x 28ats pup built like little tanks with nurves of steal and the harts of lions,

ill stick to my old colli types but not scared to try any type as long as it has feet and works as with a dog like the cattle dogs the true scottish cattle types its a two way thing ,both working as a team something you dont get with some breeds unless allot of work put into them , ye hancock bred a few ,i got to the finals of a feild trail but i gave the dog plenty work to steady her up to make a dog of her , hope they work out
