labsnlurchers 39
would make a fantastic dog for picking-up, will you try your pups at this? i have always liked the sound of this cross Yes the dogs will probably do a bit of picking for us when we're out with the guns. Their dam, the bull x bitch retreives from water too so with her and the lab these pups should be a dab hand at everything! Their main work with us will be that of a bull cross though. labsnlurchers 39
Brindle bitch from the 3rd pic is nell, i had her on here for sale for a freind who's gone into hospital and cant look after her, struggled to find her somewhere and ended up this wk accepting £60 for her. Then i have like 4/5 enquiries telling me the money's waiting! lol The way it goes i suppose but she is going to a bloke off here who seems spot on and is going to keep in touch so her owners happy! lol Quote Link to post

labsnlurchers 39
This is one of the litter at about 4/5 months old. He takes her out on the lamp with his bull x and he is pleased with her progress Quote Link to post
Tyla 3,179
i am intrigued by this cross. i had an incredible lab who was hard as nails, killed several foxes, and yet would retrieve an egg during training, worked as a peg dog on land or water and beat in the beating line. He was a real 1 in a million dog. i think a dog like that would have a lot to offer as a cross. Good luck with them! By the way, what happened to the calendar thing? i was looking forward to seeing my missus all dressed up! Quote Link to post
Strong Stuff 2,171
bull x gene will work it's magic Let's hope so! If not, all these pups will be is something that looks a bit like a Bull X ........... I'm with Hang and Bang on this one, there's a reason that Bull blood was used in Lurchers, and it ain't for pretty looks! Have been through all my old books, and searched the net, and can't find any reference to game bred Labs ........... If Labs did what Bulldogs do, then you'd be laughing, except they don't. End of story. When's the next litter due? Quote Link to post
