Match with Mark

right iv been on the phone for near to half an hour with mark we had a chat about the dogs injury and the match.

 

iv said it will not be on the 6th as there is no way that he will be healed by then and the dog is more important to me then the comp as anyone else would agree.

 

so basically we are going to wait to see if dog heals up and possibly sort out a date for the match between us.

Right then i've just spoke to Mark on the phone too and i'll explain to you where i'm at!!!

 

We set a date for this heat to be run as there were numerous problems in getting it pinned down, as far as i'm concerned as it states in the rules if you are having a problem with arranging dates for your heat between yourselves then we'll step in a set a date for you which you'll have to run!!!!

 

I've explained to Mark that if he decides he's happy to give W.H more time and be sporting about it then thats his call and the 2 of them can arrange for a new date to run their heat on!!!

 

So the ball is in Marks court now as to whether he wants to allow W.H time to see how his dog heals!!!!!!

 

Although i will add to this that the heat will need to be ran off by the end of january no questions!!!!!!

come on boys his dogs injure for feck sake, personally if i was in it and my bitch was lame i wouldn't run the heat until my dog is FULLY back on all properly! i can imagine being in world.hunters boots now id be gutted myself but the dog is more important than a lamping comp! all the best anyway mate

At the end of the day this is the first time this comp has been run, and your gonna have little problems like this but all its going to do is show and learn organisers what they gonna be up against for the next year and just my little 2pence worth LDR maybe sending the lads & lasses 2 sets of rules one which should be signed and returned then noone can have any excuses or problems with any rules

We do have the final say mate, but people wanna see dogs matched against each other so Markbrick has the choice to give the lad a break and see how his dog heals simple as that!!!

 

This aint the grand national, or the waterloo cup, its a simple lamping competition, thats meant to be a bit of fun and produce some good sport and craic for those involved!!!!

mark is a sportsman, and would never shirk a challenge, he would not enjoy a buy to the next round as imo he is too competitvie and enjoys the sport to much

Hope Storm gets mended soon enough. I have no problem with the dates being moved. This is just a lamping comp amongst like-minded folks. There has to be a time limit as before you know it we will be in march.

 

LDR stick at it and ignore the puerile comments of some people (I suspect that Santa didn't bring them enough toys). you are doing a grand job with the competition.
