landytom 0
Been watching and photographing a family group of roe lately..... This is mom..... Dad's in velvet...... and Junior is the one in my avatar....... It sure is going to be interesting if i can manage to take pics of dad's antlers as they develop...I'm finding it very bloody difficult to stalk them close enough for the shots as they are nervy, being very aware of the local dog lads and other miscellaneous lampers all eager to make a catch in an area theres few roe.... Took 78 photo's of them this afternoon, and a few have come out ok. though i had to shoot on 800ISO that's why its a tad grainy.... Hoping to take more pictures as the family gets geared up for spring.... Best Wishes....JD nice pics well done

borderboy 80
Excellent photo, I find it difficult to get close to them and be in a position to photograph them, I usually end up stalking them until i end up in a bit of a stale-mate... What camera and lens set up are you using? Not a brilliant photo but one of a small group i often see...

I really rate it, but i think i also need a slightly smaller one too, so i am currently looking at the 70-200 . The IS is amazing. Wish i had bought one years ago. I like your pic, very nice...
