Guest air gunner
While i was out shooting woodys i was standing under an ivy coverd tree and took a standing shot at the closest woody shot it through the neck and it droped like a stone. once i had retrieved it i looked up to check if any hadent taken flight they all had although i did see a bush tale bringing the gun up again i shot it straight in the head and it also droped after hanging for a bit. never having shot a squirrel before i dident know what to do with it. For christmas i got a hugh fernley whittinstall book and inside it has how to cook squirell so i got the barbeque going and sure enough it was very tasty. Quote Link to post

jazz_11 5
the few i have shot i skinned and i skin them same way as rabbits.. gun then pinch skin at buck, make a cut through skin then pull all the way off... works for me but i have shot mostly younger squirrels so that could be why it is easier...
