Oh and on the bit i'm a squaddie, hell yeah i am and i wont last long will i, hmm well lets see, 1 tour of bosnia 2 tours of iraq, and 2 years of northern ireland, and i'm still here, and why because my section stuck up for each other, and we got our job done. ive seen my fair share of action through out the world and still here. and ive been in 10 years so must do something right, i can take banter better than most. I have had alot of stick over they years, but i have learnt to live with it and ignore the people that piss me off, if you don't retaliate the pricks hate it more so don't bother. reynardhunter 3 Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 I only joined a few months ago as a complete beguiner to the sport or hunting, i purchased a air rifle and have now progressed to my first lurcher, ive been out with a couple of people of this site, WH i know count as a good mate and another member who dose not come on here often but i know personally as he is my troop sgt at work. So why have i had enough. For every one decent person on this forum there are three prick who ruin it. Just about every post turns from help full knowledge to just plain pisstaking or abuse. Ive been lucky proberly as i am new and not part of any clicks in here. So none of my post have been abused to much. But as a new person to the sport coming here at the mo is very misleading. If i joined no i would be afraid to even ask a question as 9 times out of 10 it will turn in to some one taking the piss, or one person puts something help full down and the next just rips them saying there way is crap. The abuse some members take on here is unbelievable i'm suprised they stay after what they get. Every day i log on i dread checking some posts as i know it will have just turned in to a slagging match. FFS people this is supposed to be a cumminty of like minded people who want to push the sport forward and not give the anti's some thing to stop us, we should all be sticking together not slating each other, is it to hard to say, "Sorry but i disagree with your idea i reccomend this" or "0I think you may be wrong there mate because....." instead of " you moron thats just fricking stupid" or "what a load of bollocks" Well thats my rant over, better get ready for the usual replies of " you know where the door is" "Well fook off" " you dont have to come here" etc etc. But for all the decent people on here many thanks for all the helpfull information you have giving me. Fraggle Sorry to hear you feel that way Fraggle i,ve got plenty of stick from lads on here for lots of different things, but to me its just harmless banter, iget a laugh out of it more times than not, i dont think its meant to be malicious, and even if it was it wouldnt bother me anyway, try not to take it too serious and give as good as you get, after all you,ll probably never meet these people in your life besides, there are loads of lads and lassies on here who genuinely go out of thier way to help others ps, hope you stay on Quote Link to post Share on other sites
