i had a close look at his injury its on the vain its stopped bleeding then as i tried to take the bandage of it opened again so im leaving on for a while then will soak it before taking it off and will try get some photos up later.

if it is a vain it wont heal properly in les than 2 weeks ,every time the dog trys to run it will stretch it and weaken it and you will be back to square one [call your self dog men ]no miricle cure for a torn or ripd vain only time. Edited December 30, 2008 by MY LAW

Just had another look bleeding has stopped, i cleaned it again and applied fresh bandage.

Well said SJM. This comp has really brought out the true colours of people on this site. Some real sporting people travelling the distance, putting each other up, lamping for each others dogs on the night etc but it also turns out theres some real wankers without a sporting bone in their body.

 

i dont know anybody involved personally but i cannot for the life of me see why WH would pretend his dog was injured to avoid the match. The worst that can happen is that he loses .... so what? is it really that bigger deal? He wont lose money other than his stake which he would lose anyway by forfeiting so what has he got to gain? At the end of the day its a nights sport and if it turns out the other dog wins then thats how the cookie crumbles.

 

Anyway, rant over, hope Storm is ok and i hope the best dog wins the comp regardless of who it belongs to. Good luck and injury free running to all

i agree there is no way it will be healed for a while never mind 6days just alot of rest for the lad is all that can help now and regular cleaning.

I totally agree i entered this compitition not to win just take part meet new people and run new ground with the dogs and to watch others dogs run, the comp is a great idea for sporting people to enjoy some sport and i wish the best of luck to all in the comp. and ill be back in it next year.

 

LDR to be honest mate i think it will take to long for it to heal to be fair on the other people taking part in the comp mate so it looks like im out but thats a risk i take and its just a shame that it happened.
