I had a bitch that came in heat at 3 unbelievable i know,my vet who is a mate reckoned that she was too hard and well muscled, just like alot of female athletes.

Funny thing is we moved house, didn't get her out proper couple of months nothing no working and she came in heat.

Well she had nine pups and she was a collie/greyhound/deerhound.

When i say the bitch was hard well muscled, judges used to always look under her check that it was a bitch.

I reckon they all come in different,iv'e had them come in 10mths 14mths and the 3yrs,must be summat in the water, dont worry. :)

DONT be in a hurry , for somthing that afects your dogs behaviour.

my little kelpie x whipp/grey bitch was 3 years and 1 month old befor her first time in season , hopfully it will be the same lenghth of time befor her second. ;)

i have herd of greyhounds not coming in season till there retired, maybe somthing to do with being very fit and perhaps a lack of body fat.

my TARA is the same as hard as iron all the time. i also agree down to lack of body fat. 2 year ago i went away for 2 months just as i got back in the feb, my other bitch broke down, she was due in in june, but cos my dad was just taking them for a stroll twice a day she got fat.

Would it be good to rest her up for a bit? See if she comes in. It would be nice if shes breaks down in the spring when all has ended :D
