Mars 42
Used to go to a Kebab house years ago on my way home from a night out, Until i read in the local paper one day that they`d been raided, and closed down when they found German Shepard skins in the bins,, Cant say i`de knowingly want to eat dog, but they were nice kebabs....

lurchergrrl 1,441
It's their culture, have to respect that and leave them to it I think. But there's no way I could ever eat a dog. I just .... couldn't. For me it would be like eating one of my mates

will.f11 24
I dont agree with it, much as I dont agree with eating horses. I think that horses and dogs are kind of loyal to man and help us with jobs that have to be done. Cows have always been bred for meat and so on. But horses were always a method of transport and dogs were for hunting etc. I dont think they should stop and as long as I dont have to have anything to do with it, it aint a big deal. And even if we did want it to stop, the countries which it happens in wouldnt do it as its there culture and they are that kind of people. (I take it alot of people saw the skin it wear it thing on telly with all the chinks being cruel and skinning animals alive!)
mackem 28,446
Eaten dog a few times abroad, people have always used them for food like cattle, pigs, goats etc, think Cheyenne "Dog" soldiers, polar explorers etc, dogs were kept around camps for multitudinous uses, food during hard times being one of them, when in Rome, some cultures have no stigma attached to eating dog meat.
