moonlighter 1,164 Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 the battery you mentioned would be spot on. that would last all night and not be too heavy. i have mine in a ridgid case coz it can take some stick in a nights lamping. i use to use belt packs but mine kept tearing. Lost Generation 93 Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 (edited) I have got a Deben Tracer Lithium Ion battery and it's superb it weights 1lb 12 oz as compared to 7.5lbs for my old 7AH gel battery, I put it on my normal belt and hardly know its there. kinzy 1 Posted December 29, 2008 Report Share Posted December 29, 2008 i would go for the ridged caseing 2, my [bANNED TEXT] had the canvas case witch also ripped after 6 months my ridged case has lasted 1 1/2 years so far, i got it from arther carter. make sure you ask for the strap with it.
